Answers:
I guess to make this into simple terms is to understand the immunesystem!. IgE (immunoglobulin E) which is the "gatekeeper" of any allergic reaction to pollen or other stuff!.

During an initial reaction of an allergy!. The "pollen" or "robber" can enter the body!. The "robber" will attach itself to basophils (circulatory) AND mast cells (tissues)!. DURING this time, the body triggers a "ALARM from the Police station" to tell the IgE (police officer) to find the "robbers!."

ONCE found, the "police officer" grabs on the mast cell!. This causes the mast cell to release a chemical or "police officer" shoots mace!. This chemical that is released causes your normal S/S of allergies such as sneezing!.

LYMPHOCYTES (WBC) is like the first line of defense!. Like, when you get an infection, WBC is produced to fight the infection!.

Tried my best!. Hope that makes sense!
