All breast cancers are different, so they would feel different!. Do you have a family history!? If you , or someone you know is worried, chances are its just your body changing!. You should let and adult know, like mom or an aunt!. A check up wouldn't hurt!.

It is possible - but highly unlikely!. You would have to go to the doctor to be sure!. The doc would do a breast exam and if there was something there that was concerning to the doc then he/she would send you for further testing, which could include a mammogram, ultrasound, MRI or biopsy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is extremely unusual for someone as young as 14 to develop breast cancer- really, beyond rare!. It is a disease mainly associated with ageing - 80% of people diagnosed are over 50!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Often there are no outward signs of breast cancer that you can see or feel!. If there are outward signs, the more common ones include a lump, an area of thickening, or a dimple in the breast!. Less common signs include breast swelling and redness or an enlarged underarm lymph node!.

But even if you have one or more of these signs, it still doesn't mean you have breast cancer!. Remember that most breast lumps turn out to be benign (not cancerous)!.

Still, it's extremely important that you SEE YOUR DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY if you're worried that you might have breast cancer!. Having your doctor take a look will ease your worry, and if anything is found, you'll be able to take care of it quickly!.

Try to get in the habit of doing a breast self-examination once a month to familiarize yourself with how your breasts normally look and feel!. Examine yourself several days after your period ends, when your breasts are least likely to be swollen and tender!. If you are no longer having periods, choose a day that's easy to remember, such as the first or last day of the month!.

Don't panic if you think you feel a lump!. Most women have some lumps or lumpy areas in their breasts all the time!. Eight out of ten breast lumps that are removed are benign, non-cancerous!.
