Mild acne on a 10 year old boy?!
Question: Mild acne on a 10 year old boy!?
My 10 y/'o son has a few pimples on his forhead!. Is it more likely that he has them because of the "longer" hair-style he has been wearing (like all of the other 10 year olds) or is it because he has already reached puberty!? He seems toooo young for it to be the later!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just remember everyone is different, it could be the long hair, I have a relative that can't wear her hair over her forhead don't know if it was the products she uses in her hair or just her skin responding to her hair just being on her forehead, but it stop when she wore her hair back!. As far as early puberty it happens, ask yourself questions like did I or his father experience early puberty, if so what did you do, just try to help him understand himself by explaining what can possibly be going on with him and together come up with what works for him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
10 is not too young for puberty!. However, I would firstly question his diet and washing!. How determined is he to wash his face (face it, all children shirk this responsibility) and what food he is eating!. (E!.g!. chocolate, fried food, dairy)!.

Well acne can hit at 10 i mean he could be an early grower much like there are late bloomers who get acne at like 17 - 18!. So It could be the hair which could pose as a anomaly because they would not be pimples but a rash or something!. But it could be both!. Make him wash his face every night and morning and use pimple medication daily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
He might've gotten to puberty; but it could be his "longer hairstyle" if it covers his forhead!. On the other hand, you might want to see how much junk food and oils he eats because that can also cause the acne!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
