i went to a house for a few hours, the people had two dogs(i was young and with an irresponsible adult) the dog kept followin me arround, anyways!. i felt my chest tight as we were goin home and took my inhailor before bed(was too late tho) i struggled to breathe all night and when i woke up my windpipe was so tight i couldnt eat!. i got taken to the emergency room, a quick check then home, a few minutes later- back to the hospital and unconcience with no oxygen getting to my brain for a long time!. can tell u more if u need it

I am allergic to bees and I did not know it until I was stung on the face! He got me right by my eye and it shut completely!. The other eye started to shut but the docs gave me some meds!. It sucked though! I was swollen for a couple days!. I was only in the 3rd grade at the time and I heard buzzing around my ear!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son has severe outdoor allergies, in which I just found a medicine that finally controls it!. (Zyrtek)!. His eyes swell, throat itches like crazy, and nose just clogs up!. It's bad throughout spring, summer, and fall!. And only the rains seems to give him relief!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
i reciently found out im allergic to laytex, this totally changed my whole world!. i have to be careful about which products i use ie!. band-aids, gloves, birth control!.
i am also allergic to oil paint, just the smell of it!. if im in a room that has fresh oil paint on/in it i get a runny nose, red eyes, nauseated ,!.!.!.!. basically i get the flu instantly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mother was a very healthy and active woman, untill she had my baby brother!.After that i saw her gaining weight ike crazy ,i'm talkin like 130 lbs after his birth! Of course she eventully started having heart problems and she couldn't understand why!.!.-gee i wonder-!.And just a few weeks ago the doctor told her she had developed asthma and that she needed to lose weight!.Yet she is sitting on the sofa watching Oprah with good ol ben n jerry everyday!.!.!.yeaWww@Answer-Health@Com

Celiac disease is an autoimmune digestive disease that damages the small intestine and interferes with absorption of nutrients from food!. It is triggered by consumption of the protein called gluten, which is found in wheat, barley and rye!.
for me, what happens is every time I consume Gluten - My tummy gets Tight, my body hurts like I have been hit my a truck and my fingers and ankles get REALLY swollen along with some Nausea -

Well, let's see, I have had allergic dermatitis to a ton of things since I was about two years old, which resulted in years of cortisone, long sleeves, hiding, itching, and not being able to swim, sweat, or go anywhere without looking like a leper!. Then I sneezed my head off every summer and would sit in exams feeling like I had eyelashes stuck in my eyes and I would sneeze my head off!. This was the 70's and 80's when parents didn't realize their kids had issues and if they did realize it then you were blamed, accused of making problems, and would probably get your a$$ beat because you must have done something wrong!. Then I wore latex gloves to do dishes because I was allergic to soap!. Then I went to nursing school (four years) and in my third year, I developed a full-blown latex anaphylaxis and had to avoid it and suffer every day!. Then I worked in administration as an RN to avoid the latex in the clinical setting, and everyone got strep throat and wa-la! I finally because allergic to myself and developed rheumatoid arthritis at the ripe age of 27!
So now I am on Enbrel and methotrexate and I hope I don't get cancer!. The Enbrel is working wonders so I obviously have Tumor Necrosis Factor in a plentiful amount because it only targets that!.
So to every moron who thinks that allergies are just a few sniffles and won't kill you, think again!. Most adults who develop RA, MS, Lupus, psoriasis, gout, scleroderma, or any autoimmune disease have a history of multiple allergies!.
Now I have a child who has had allergies since she was very little and I have just resigned myself to the fact that no sane person should jump into our gene pool!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
