My blood pressure is 180/ 85 p 55..on 40 mgs lisinopril and 3 - 0.1 mgs of clond!


Question: My blood pressure is 180/ 85 p 55!.!.on 40 mgs lisinopril and 3 - 0!.1 mgs of clondine!.!.!?
just started taking today 2 more clondine!.!.!.why would my top # number be so high!.!.earley it was 190/95 pulse 53!.!.my pulse always runs low!.!.even if i walk hardly ever gets 100!.!. ANY INFO!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem!. It takes a while before the doctors can come up with a combination that works for you to control your blood pressure!. Be patient!. The lisinopril may be keeping your heart from pumping so hard!. Not too sure about that!. I know atenolol does that!. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding diet, exercise and medication!. With the antihypertensive drugs you have been taking, it should be lower than that!. If you increase dose, possibility is that the lower reading will fall further!. That wide pulse pressure (difference between systolic & diastolic) is sometimes seen in aortic regurgitation!. You need to get Echocardiography done!.
