Question: Colonoscopy Prep with Hemorrhoids!! HELP!!?
Tomorrow I have to do my prep for a colonoscopy I'm having in two days!. I've had them before, so I do know how unpleasant it is and how much I'll be going to the bathroom!. My problem is that I'm having SEVERE hemorrhoid problems right now, and it already feels like the worst pain ever when I go!. Now with the prep, I'll be going every couple of minutes and it will hurt SO bad!. Any ideas to make it less painful, or do I tell my doctor and see if it can be held off until my hemorrhoids subside!. I'm really worried about this!. I can't take much more pain!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since you'll be making frequent trips to the bathroom, I don't know how much this will help, but moist heat applied to the tender tissue helps to soothe it!. Use a soft wash cloth dipped in pretty warm water after each movement!. Also, Kleenix is softer than any toilet tissue, so use that instead!.
