Question: Q about wearing wigs!?!?!?!?!?
I have a close friend who recently lost her hair because of Alopecia!. Does anyone know were she can get a good wig that she can tape on ,she has a young child and doesnt want it to be pulled off in public!! We know that lace fronts are very expensive and she needs something cheaper! Anyone here wear a wig!? Is it comfertable and durable in the summer!?!?!? HELP PLZ!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

For the best looking natural wigs you NEED to spend a lot of money!. To guarantee it want fall off, and will be comfortable to wear!. Cheaper wigs are not as effective and dont look as natural!. The more expensive wigs dont need any tape or anything they mold to the shape of the head!. I would do some research into your options!. xWww@Answer-Health@Com
I am sure it might boost her self esteem!.!.!. maybe she can even get different ones!.!. so she can try to look different sometimes!.!. be a redhead one day!.!. a blonde another time!.!. have long or short hair!.!.!. I am sure they are comfortable!.!.!.
Other days she can wear a scarf!.!. and Princess Caroline of Monaco!.!. the eldest daughter of Grace Kelly!.!.!.she had lost all her hair once!.!. and she went out and she is a beautiful woman!.!. now she is 51 but she was in her 30's then and good looking and still she went and let reporters take her picture without hair!.!. and it all grew back!.!. she got long hair now!.!.again xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

if she has cancer and lost it because of treatment, then she can contact the american cancer society, they give 1 wig to patients free of charge!.
Unfortunately, I do not know of any other places, I would call around, maybe go to the website of an alopecia support group, they would have some good resources!.

I speak from experience when I say that NO wig is going to be particularly comfortable, especially in the summer!. I know this isn't particularly answering your question, but I would suggest she look into the alternatives of scarves or hats made especially for hair loss patients- most are very comfortable and breathable for those with fragile skin!.
