Question: Has any one had this done!?!?
My first question ended up in the wrog catagory!. So here it is again!. Has any one had an upper endoscopy!.!. basically a camera down your throat to see whats is going on down in your stomach!? I am really worried about what is going to go on!. Please tell me about what happened when you went!. I have to go in on wed!. Please help me with your experiance I am really nervous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had one a few years ago!. They sedated me into a state they called "twilight"!.
The only thing I hated about it was the gel stuff I had to drink first!. It made me gag but not vomit!. I generally vomit after having drugs like that so I told my doctor beforehand and they gave me something to prevent it!.
I don't remember anything after they pumped the medication into my IV!.
It's really not too bad, I promise!
