Question: Breastmilk as a pink eye remedy!?`!?
I've done research, and heard from friends that their pediatritions say that breastmilk will work for pink eye!.!. because of the antibodies in the milk and it's sterile condition, if so do you know how long it's supposed to take for the pinkeye to go away with the breastmilk cure!.!. how long should you wait to see if it isn't working!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most cases of infectious conjunctivitis are probably viral and self-limited!. I don't doubt that it'll work every bit as well as doing nothing!.

This is really far out!. I don't know what your "research" is, I have been in medical research for many years and heard many stories but, not this one, yet!.
The properties of breast milk are for the babies immune system and not just everyone!. And, for your research, this milk is not sterile, whatever the mother has eaten, is in the milk also!. It could be bad for you!.
Stick with the common over he counter products for "Pink-eye" or see your doctor, it will be easier in the long run anyway!.
