Ok so like 3 summers ago, my friend and I walked through a stream barefoot and then we both had like patches on our foot that was dry skin and really itchy!. Eventually it went away on its own, but mine always comes back and now its getting way worse and its itchy and cracks and made my pinky toe nail real thick!. Anyways, I dont know what to do about it!. I dont have any medical insurance!. What do you think it could be and what should I do to get rid of it!!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

First go buy yourself an anti fungal cream!. There not expensive at all!. You can find them at walmart, Walgreen's or rite aid!. Then file your feet down with either a nail filer or one of those bigger filers!. File the area where it itches and also file the area where its cracking!. File it real good till your skin is smooth!. Then grab some rubbing alcohol and a small rag!. Make sure the rag is clean!. Pour the rubbing alcohol on the rag and gently rub your foot with the alcohol rag!. Of course it's going to sting but take the pain!. The sting means its cleaning the infected area!. After you have done that for about a good 3 to 5 minutes!. Get a small tub where you can fit your foot in!. Fill it up with warm water!. Must be warm!. Then grab two packs of regular oatmeal and mix it in with the warm water!. Set your foot in the tub and let it sit for about a good 20 minutes!. After you have let it sit for a good 20 minutes, get another clean rag and dry your foot with it!. After you have dried your foot, spread the anti fungal on your infected area of your foot!. Keep putting the anti fungal cream on your foot regularly until your foot is one hundred percent better!. Oh and always make sure your always wearing socks, even in your house and even when your sleeping until your foot has fully recovered!. I got htis treatment from my grandmother of course and only cost me about $12!.00!. It worked for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like eczema but he walking in the rain would not have caused that!. I got what we called "ditch funk" as a kid!. It was nothing more than a staff infection on the skin!. That is probably what it is!. It is not big deal as long as it does not get into your bloodstream!. Then it could lead to alot of other problems including death!. You may want to go to the free clinic or a CVS pharmacy that has a Nurse Practitioner working in it!. They can help and are generally less expensive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
