Treatment for extreme hayfever?!

Question: Treatment for extreme hayfever!?
Is there anything that can be done to help cases where hayfever is very severe throughout the summer and does not respond to antihistamine tablets!? It's so bad, I can't sleep properly, cannot drive without sneezing and it affects my work from late april right through till august!.

I have tried every antihistamine out there!.!.!. zirtek, clarytin, loratadine, benadryl etc etc!. I was prescribed strong anthistamine from the doctor too but they did not help!.

Is there anything to end this yearly misery!? Something for severe suferers from specialists or something!?

Please, no suggestions to wear sunglasses and wash clothing, keeping windows shut!. This has been going on for years and those measures don't even touch it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have REALLY bad hayfever and use Flixonaze!. It gets sprayed up the nose and reduces the sensitivity!. Prescription only!. Similar to Beconaze in that it takes a while to build up but after three days all but the most stubborn sneezes had gone and the eyes stoped itching and running!. I swear by it!.

I suffer with this as well and have to ake a combination of drugs eye drops, nasal spray and neo clarityn daily this gets a bit monotinous also avoid beer and lager as this can amplify the effects of hayfever belive it or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to get it so bad I couldn't drive!. Since then I have found a strong correlation between the strength of the hayfever and the amount of simple sugars and carbs I have been eating!. When I am 'good' I may still get hayfever but one otc tablet will get rid of it in minutes whereas before, nothing would help and I would just want to curl up and!.!.!.

If you eat a lot of simple carbs (also found in beer) then they could quite possibly be the culprits!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, Yeh I suffer from non-seasonal (all year round) hayfever!. Even in the middle of the winter it's there and its a real pain in the a*s!. Although I have been on on LOADS of medication from the doctor since I was 12 years old (now I'm only 16)- but still way too much a guy of my age should have been on! I have tried pretty much all antihistamines including Piriton 4mg, NeoClarity, Cetirizine HCl and even more!. At the moment I'm still under an allergy clinic for tests because it shouldn't go on as it is- although I have underlying other medical problems!. Currently I am on a steroidial nasal spray, Singulair and Fexofenadine HCl (120-180mg depending on my symptoms) and Bricanyl which I take for hayfever AND athsma related breathing problems!. They seem to help, at least most of the time- although it does depending ALOT on the weather!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
