Stephanie! I have become an EXPERT in ADD because our daughter has it! We went through a NIGHTMARE with that poor dear child!. I WOULD highly recommend looking it up on the internet, and maybe talking to your school nurse or counselor about it!. If you ARE ADD, you will find TREMENDOUS COMFORT in knowing you are NOT ALONE, and that MANY are affected with it! YES, there IS medication, which sometimes helps tremendously!. Unfortunately, this was NOT the case in our daughter!. School was a MAJOR STRUGGLE for her! The GOOD NEWS IS, as you get older, you learn better how to cope and it lessens in severity over time!. My daughter is almost 21 now, and does great! You can live a happy, fulfilling, successful life with ADD!. DON'T LET IT stand in the way of your dreams! You know, she and I have come to look at it not so much as a disability, but more of a DIFFERENT way of experiencing life and approaching solutions!. Most ADD'ers are extremely intelligent and very creative!. I think it really tends to go with the out of the box creative thinking of artistic people! The distraction is the really TOUGH PART!. Talk with a counselor or nurse, and look up ADD on the i-net to learn "TRICKS" that will help you deal with distractions!. And PLEASE, feel free to E-MAIL me for further insights!. My daughter is ALSO on here a lot, and would GLADLY talk with you further, as well! Hang in there, honey!. You're gonna be JUST FINE!! BabzWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, so you obsess about stuff, but you keep forgetting what you are obsessing over!?

Seriously, talk to your doctor!. There is a standard that they use to diagnose you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
