I'm about to go walking around in the city!. Usually, my asthma will act up because of the smoke and smog I encounter!. Right now, I feel fine!. Should I take my nebulizer before I go!.!.!.or just see how I feel when I'm there and if anything, just take my rescue inhaler!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If you know you're going to be exposed to a trigger, take your nebulizer treatment before you go!. Not a bad idea to take your rescue inhaler if you're going to be gone more than a couple of hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you know its going to happen, then taking a neb treatment before is not a bad idea!. Do you take allergy and or asthma pills such as zyrtech or singulair!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would take the rescue inhaler now, and then go for the walk!. If your asthma acts up, then do the rescue again while you're out, and the neb treatments when you get homeWww@Answer-Health@Com

pretreatment before exposure to known triggers is the standard asthma action plan!.

Talk with your doctor and get an asthma action plan!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have copd & in my experence I have found that if you feel ok to start ---Take your Inhaler with you & if needed use & get back out of the cause that is borhering you as soon as possible!. If you take your nebulizer before you start ----you will open up your lungs & whatever causes your problem will effect you sooner!. Which will take you longer to get over the incendent ---Because in my situation I can only take my nebulizer about ever 5 or 6 hours---therefore a problem is created that takes longer to get over!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

take it at least 15 min before, it will open up your airways and prevent bronchospasm during, take your rescue inhaler with you as well!. make sure you are on a good asthma plan!.!.i recommend one that follows the GOLD standardWww@Answer-Health@Com
