My best friend might have cancer?!
Question: My best friend might have cancer!?
i've read other answers to this similar situation but they all say be strong for 'em but she seems to be stronger than me, how should i react to all this!? all i want to do is burst out crying whenever i think about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First, you say "might have," so I'm guessing she has not been diagnosed with cancer yet!. That's something to hold on to right there!. Second, it depends what kind of cancer and how far along it is, if she has it at all!.
You are afraid of losing your friend; this is why you're upset!. It's a perfectly normal reaction, but it will only upset her to see you this way, so you need to work this out for yourself!. The last thing she needs, if she does have cancer, is to be around people who are crying all the time!.
Clearly, you care for your friend very much!. You don't want to make her feel bad, so concentrate on the positive and take your cues from her as to what she needs from you emotionally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What kind of cancer!?
Many types of cancers are no big deal!. I've had two different type of cancer!. I've had surgery four times!. I'm alive, have all my hair, etc!. I'm perfectly healthy at 27!.
It's not about you!. It's about her!. All you need to do is be a good friend and do all the same things you normally do!. Seriously!. The friends I hung out with the most during my issues were the ones who didn't talk about it!. I would offer info, they would listen, but they treated me like normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
