I am a paranoid freak when it comes to this stuff!.!.!. i am only 16 and my girlfriend had cold soars a long time ago but no recent outbreaks!.!. i love her very much and even know she has it i dont care because i love her, I ended up getting a cold soar awhile after and it went away along with really bad fever im all better now!.!. But we have also had oral sex before and i was wondering if i can contract Type 1 onto my gentials from oral sex!? this was many months ago and awhile after i had a couple bumps around my legs, never on my genitals or nothing i looked at pictures of herpes and they looked nothing like herpes!.!. the bumps went away and its been almost 5 months and i never seen these bumps around my legs again and still nothing on my genitals, should i be worried!? if i have it what should i do!? Im just a kid with alot of life problems my dad commit suicide in late 2006 i really dont want to live with herpes!.!. somone help as soon as i match any symptoms i freak out!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should have realized that you are "just a kid" before you had sex!. Yes her oral herpes can be transmitted to your genitals causing genital herpes!. Get tested and if you do have it get meds for it b/c there is NO cure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, you can get genital HSV1!. However, the bumps on your legs were most likely something else!. Most cases of herpes do not look like the ones in the pics, HOWEVER, if i was you, I would really try not to worry!. Unfortunately, the basic blood tests will only show that you have antibodies to HSV1 in your system!. BTW HSV1 and 2 are different strains but each can go either upstairs or downstairs (although each strain prefers different areas of the body)!.

It's possible to contract oral herpes on your genitals, but she needs to have an active sore for that to happen!. The only way to get herpes type 2 is to come into contact with it!. Herpes 1 and herpes 2 are two different viruses, and one doesn't become the other just by showing up in a different spot on the body!. The best thing you can do is go to a doctor and get yourself checked out for STDs, and wait until you're older and more prepared to do anything sexual again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is real hard though!. I love him too!. I am only 19years old!. He is 22years old!. Try not to give oral when one is visable!. Even though you can contract it when there is not a sore visable!.
I pretty much already have it!. But I have not had any cold sores!. Or showed any genitsl herpes!. neither has he!.
He use to get them when he was younger, so i know this is not his fault!.

Come on get serious how can you refuse to live with it if you know she has it and you can get it at anytime!. You are playing Russian roulette with your health!. The only way you can get genital herpes is if she gives you oral sex while she has a cold sore on her mouth!. Come on dude you know what time it is!. You play the game, you pay the price!. You need to go to your dr!. to see what is really going on!. As for your girl friend I hope she loves you as much as you love her cause that is something that is really hard to deal with!.
