Getting microdermabrasion on Friday - Couple of Questions?? <10 pts!>?!

Question: Getting microdermabrasion on Friday - Couple of Questions!?!? <10 pts!>!?
Okay I am getting my first microdermabrasion on Friday for some brown marks left over from acne and to basically just even my skin tone!. I am 20 and male!. I have no active acne that I can visibly see!. I need to know do I need to have a clean shave before I go or can I shave the day before as I don't want to irritate my skin too much before!? Also shall I stop Bensoyl Peroxide cream for how many days after treatment or can I use it say the next day (Saturday)!?

I am also using a skin lightener on the areas (maybe what caused a bit of uneveness at the same time)!. Shall I continue after treatment too!? Heres a pic of the problem:

Ok well I would say shave Thursday night!. I personally would lay off the lightening cream during the series just incase, and as far as the bensoyl --Try a test spot on your face onSaturday night or Sunday and if it doesnt burn or sting too bad probably ok to go ahead and use it but ask the person doing your micro, they may be a bit more conservative in fact I'm sure they will be I tend to treat my skin a lot more aggressively than I would treat a clients!. I'm just telling you what Id do with my own skin on that!. If you arent seeing breakouts and really dont need it then just as well not to use it during the series if you dont have to!.

Don't forget to use sunblock for your face during this time!. Important to use one made for the face that is as natural as possible and wont irritate!. I myself have acne issues and find Yonka ultimate protection or creme 410 works best!. Dont worry about the oils in it they are not acne causing types of oils!. Some oils are actually good for your face!. When the skin feels dyhydrated it tends to go into mass production of oil to try and compensate for being striped of oils and moisture thus throwing the oil glands into overdrive!. Putting healthy oils and moisture on the skin helps to sedate the oil glands It sometimes takes a few weeks of consistant care though for the oil glands to get the message!.

Also, finding out if there is an underlying cause of the acne may help prevent future breakouts!. For some it is just age, hormones and genetics!. For others it could be food sensitivities, teeth grinding/clenching (if acne is usually on cheek area where the teeth meet), digestive stress, sluggish lymph system, stress, liver overload, dead skin build-up and reluctant cell turnover, wrong skin care products including overly aggressive acne products!. etc!. Whatever the cause always remember to drink plenty of water!. When it comes to the body, dilution is the solution for pollution!. Whether the pollution is excess hormones in the system, foods that the cells dont like or whatever!. Flush em out with lots of water!.

Dont be afraid to use a nice moisturizer every day and night, when we are fighting acne we tend to be very harse to our skin and you need to replenish and sooth with calming moisturizers!. Again I am a big fan of yonka and like their pamplemouse, pg creme, and even the creme 28!. I own all of those and depending on how my skin is acting that day depends on which one I use!. Skin is not the same week to week!. At night I first apply Aveda liquid exfoliant!. Then I have vitamin C powder!. I mix that with a bit of coconut oil and sometimes even a drop of liquid Cal/mag all from the health food store, and apply it before bed!. Those are all great antimicrobals and anti inflammatories!. As well as collegen building and anti aging!. If you try the vit C thing you may want to wait til after the micro series, it may or may not sting a bit!.

Looking at your picture it seems you are a good micro canidate and should see really nice results that you should be happy with!. Just make sure the place your getting it from has a good reputation!. Dont be afraid to ask for references and education and experience as well as how old the machine is they are using and what brand of machine!. The micro machines have come along way in the past few years so a very old machine may cause unnessesary irritation that a newer machine wouldnt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't use any skin lighteners, and how old are those marks!? Because they should get lighter on their own over time without any treatment!.

Call your doctor and ask about those other questions, or ask the nurse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you could shave a day before, and because its abrasion just use really mild soap and cleansers for 3-4 days, also stop your benzoyl peroxide for at least 5 days or a week, and no need for skin lighteners, just use a face scrub cream weekly after that, and your skin will look great, but for even more better results you should do microdermabrasion every 2-3 months becuse doing it just once wont give too much effect!. !. !. remember not to have or only minimal sunlight exposure after the treatment!. !. !. and for sure the dermatologist would give/ suggest to you products to increase the loss of blemishes!. !. !. and dont wory too much i saw the pic!. !. !. its not that bad!. !. !. one more thing, try using garnier moisturizer before going to bed, it helps!. !. !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
