Question: Candida Albican Helps please!?
Hi,
For the longest time now, a month I've had frequent urination and got treated for bladder "infection" with antibiotics!.!.!. well i t turns out the constant urination is still there!.!.!.I got tested for a a yeast infection some weeks ago!.!.!. and it came back positive for Candida Albican!.!. I did a 3 day treatment over the counter but on my third day it seemed like the infection had just started!.!.!.That being said the dr gave me Diflucan !.!.!. but the constant urination, the burning and vaginal discomfort is still there!. I went to the hospital on monday and they did some swabs and it came out negative for yeast (my ovaries have been hurting and that is why I went to emer on monday) I went back to my regular doctor today and I said that the constant urination (which according to her can be caused my the yeast infection) is still there, the burning is still there and the vaginal discomfort is still, she checked me and said that the yeast infection was still there!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
you may indeed still have the yeast infection"candida albicans" and it may come and go as you play with antibiotics!. the vagina is a very acidic environment and as with any other part of the body, is very highly regulated in both ph and in it bacterial colonie!. antibiotics decrease the bodies natural flora, thus increasing the likelihood of an opportunistic invader such as a fungus like candida albicans to over populate and thus a vicious cycle is perpetuated!. my best advice is to double dip if you will on both antibiotics and antifungals, like a hit of rocephin, 250mg-1000mg depending and 500mg of flagylWww@Answer-Health@Com

I can not say why she said the yeast infection is still there with negative test, or if she is correct in saying that!. However, if you likely are having issues with yeast, then you might consider trying a Candida Free Diet, you can get recipes on the internet by doing a search, as well as find info about Candida Albican!. My husband had to go on a Candida diet for a while, the recipes, once we got used to them, were good, and we all benefitted from them!. I've attached a link in the "know your source!? section that will give you a lot of information on the subject!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
