Wheat digestive problems?!

Question: Wheat digestive problems!?
I am 1/2 Cherokee/Yuchi and white!. I have had digestive problems for as long as I can remember which include pains, removal of a gall bladder, indigestion and diabetes!. I have been thru tests and nothing is found to be wrong but I have been advised to refrain from eating any wheat products due to my Native American heritage and a related digestive problem found among Native Americans and wheat products!.!. My brother has recently been diagnosed with Chrones disease and most of the same problems as I have!. Have any of you heard of a condition like this!? If I have any bread it has to be made at home and only made with rye flour!. As long as I lay off of the wheat products I'm pretty much ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You will need to look into gluten intolerance or sensitivity and celiac disease!. It is a very common problem that affects many people!.The tests for these conditions are often unreliable, so even if you test negative, it is entirely possible (and in fact probable if you have clear symptoms that clear on a gluten free diet) that you have celiac disease or gluten sensitivity!. Chrons disease is strongly linked to sensitivity to gluten!. I will include some links for you here and some information on grains that are suitable to eat while on a gluten free diet!. Rye flour does contain gluten, by the way!. You will need to find a different flour to use if you need it to be gluten free!. Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
