Question: My best friends mom has had cancer for 2 years, not looking too good, what should I do!!?
I don't know what to say or do around her!. She is not very bright and doesn't really know the extent of her mothers cancer!. but it worries me!. she has lung cancer!. It is not getting any better nor worse!. If she doesn't die of the cancer she will die of chemo!. She has not smoked a day in her life by the way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

omg!! im rly sorry to hear that!. i lost my g-pa about 3 to 5 years ago to lung cancer!. and he never ever smoked a day in his life either!. it was all due to 2nd hand smoke!. There is nothing that you can do other than continue to be a friend!. Treat her Mom the way you always have!. You don't need to say or do anything special!. Absolutely no one knows when someone else may die !. !. even when they have cancer !. !. it is that unpredicatable !. !. so do not rush or anticipate her death too soon!. She just may surprise you!. Anyway !. !. what most patients with advanced cancer do is learn to live in the moment and enjoy each day that they have!. And that is what you should do around them too!. First of all, chemo doesn't necessiarly kill someone!. It helps a cancer patient get better, If the patient dies it wasn't because of the chemo!. I am a cancer warrior because of chemo, I am still around!.
