Hello again!
My child, just very recently, has developed a very severe sore throat!. I sent him to school, thinking he would be fine!.
During his fifth period, I got a call from the school saying he was not able to talk, and had a fever of 100!.8!. I picked him up!.
When we got home, I took his temperature!. It was then 101!.1!. He was also having difficulty swallowing, like there was a lump in his throat!.
I AM taking him to the doctor, but I was wondering if I could get a pre-doctor diagnosis!. Is this strep throat!? And is there anything I can do to make him feel better in the time before we go!? I know its 2 am, but I was worried!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

give him some antibiotics, it will kill the strep throat bacteria (if that is the case), and popsicles provide temporary releif!. if he was older, you could give him some vodka or some other spirit, it helps cleanse the infected area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can't tell until the doctor does a throat culture!. There are many things that can cause a sore throat and a fever!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You cannot really tell until you get a throat swab but it could also be another type of throat infection!.
I recommend plenty of warm drinks for him in the meantime!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
