Breast Cancer in Men.?!


Question: Breast Cancer in Men!.!?
I'm a seventeen year old male, who thinks he could possibly have Breast Cancer!. A couple months ago, I noticed my left breast was somewhat swollen, larger than the right!. I thought nothing of it, and possibly thought it was due to my daily workouts!. I also mentioned it to my parents and neither of us considered the possible severity!. I can feel no lumps, but my left breast is larger than my right!. Should I consult a doctor, as well as my parents!? Could I really have breast cancer!? Thanks for reading!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is unlikely that you have breast cancer, given your age and probable lack of family history!. Are you left handed!? Seriously, people who are involved in throwing sports (baseball, football) may have over-developed muscles on that side than the other!.

Unilateral gynecomastia (the term for one breast larger than the other) can be seen in adolescent men on occasion!. Assuming that you don't smoke marijuana, this is likely a temporary thing that will resolve on its own!.

Still, it wouldn't hurt, and would probably put you at ease, to have it checked out by your pediatrician!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is possible for men to get breast cancer, but this does not sound like it!.!.!. if it is NOT painful and remains for a while you may want to see a doctor!. if it is painful and remains swollen, try using some ice and give it a week or 2, if no better see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

While it is possible, it is very unlikely!. If this is disturbing to you, see your doctor to get a professional opinion!. Then you can either relax & get on with your life, or take the steps necessary to cope with the problem!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Fewer than 1% of people diagnosed with breast cancer are male!.

And of all people diagnosed with breast cancer, 80% are over 50!. Breast cancer in a teenager is EXTREMELY rare!.

So your chances of having breast cancer are close to zero
