Answers:
It's Osgood-Schlatter disease!. The area where your patellar (knee) tendon inserts into the tbia tubercle (that's part of the big bone in the lower leg) is vulnerable to microfracture during late childhood or adolescents, especially in athletes!. It is common in males!.

Rest, restriction of activities and, occasionally, a knee immobilizer may be necessary!. Anti-inflammatory medications (like ibuprofen, etc) usually are not beneficial!. Complete resolution of symptoms usually may require 12-24 months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well you have to not over use your knees for about 3 months so that they will start to heal!. If you stop running hard and overstretching you should be healed in about 7 months tops!. Unless of course you keep reinjuring your needs!. Then everytime you hurt yourself again you are looking at another 3 months short term- 7 long term!. I know its tough as my son had the same thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dude ive got that too in my left knee!. im 14 and my doctor said its the worst hes ever seen and told me i should quit all my sports because i prob!. wouldnt be able to walk on it when i get old!. and you can have it for life!. but you can get a quartazone shot into that bump and it helps!. my dad had it done but he said it hurts likeheck!
