The body needs exercise to function!. With activity muscles help with blood circulation, the heart becomes stronger and able to carry more oxygen, the muscles become better at drawing oxygen and other nutrients from the muscles, the bones become denser and better able to withstand pressure!.
With inactivity all these processes reverse!. The muscles, including the heart become weaker and less able to perform their tasks!.
That said, most people are somewhat active!. They get out of bed, for example!. Every activity helps to keep your body strong!. The more active you are (through exercise, particularly walking) the stronger your body becomes!.
Many of the effects of aging can be slowed with proper exercise!.
As a side note, the human body maintains a certain amount of strength just by working against gravity!. When astronauts are in the zero-gravity of outer space for too long their muscles atrophy to the point where they are too weak to stand!.

Tthey atrophy into a blob of crap!. also the muscles of the body help to move blood!. So no muscles poorer movement, witch will lead to heart problems and stroke!. Also your guts depend on movement for movement if you know what I mean!. picture it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
