I am so sorry to hear that hun, I know how hard it is, because I lost my father to cancer!.
I understand that you will want to know how much time you will have left with her, and that you don't want her to be in pain!. But just let her know you are there, and that you love her!. Say all the things you want her to know, about how much you love her, and appreciate her, and how you will keep her in your heart forever!. That will be a comfort to her now, and a comfort to you later!. Try and make the atmosphere in her room happy, and not sad, because that will be a comfort to her as well!.
No one can really predict how long she will have, but her doctor, or respite carer might have a more definitive answer for you!. Just treasure what time you have left and I will be praying for her, you and your family!. God bless xWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm very sorry and my thoughts are with you and your family!.
It's hard for doctors to predict how much time a person may have left!. As my example shows, not everyone is a clear cut case!.

My uncle has got inoperable tumours on his bowel which has now spread to his lungs!. He's been fighting it for years now (approx!. 6) with courses of radiotherapy and numerous courses of chemo!. He's still strong and still works!.

My Grandad had lung cancer!. He was diagnosed 2 years ago!. He underwent an opperation to remove the tumours, but then the cancer came back!. His decline was rappid and he passed away, May of last year!.

Cancer isnt a simple process, it can take many twists and turns and your step-mum's case will be totally different from anyone elses!.

All the best to you and your family!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
