Question: Cancer & Body Weight!?
If the weight of the body is increasing than can it be assumed that person does not have cancer!? If not what type of cancer can result in increase in body weight!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

By the time a person starts losing weight as a result of cancer, the cancer has usually advanced to a dangerous degree!. So no, you cannot assume you do not have cancer if you are still gaining weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There are over 200 different types of "cancer" so it depends on where the cancer is located!.
I am living w/ brain cancer (stage 4 - I'm only 38 yrs old)!. When it comes to the brain, there is swelling involved!. The best treatment are steroids (decadron)!. UNFORTUNATELY the biggest side effect is increased appetite and water retention (ie massive weight gain - I gained 68 lbs in 6 weeks!)!.
Guys, that's like going through a full-term pregnancy in those 6 weeks - Gals, I feel your pain!.!.!.esp!. in the lower back ;}

well i don't think you'll know you have cancer just by decreasing weight!.!.!.
when I got cancer I started gaining weight! and then I got a surgery and lost 60 pounds then I started getting chemo and even though I didn't eat I gained 50 pounds!. but then I've lost 40 ever since but yeah its all different!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No you have assumed way wrong!. You don't normally loose weight until late!. Also, a major reason people loose weight is because of chemo and the nausea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
