Do you think my moisturizer is causing my red skin?!

Question: Do you think my moisturizer is causing my red skin!?
I have light skin and it gets pretty dry in the winter, so I bought Neutrogena oil free anti-acne moisturizer with salicylic acid!. It is suppose to moisterize skin and treat acne at the same time which is what I need, but my skin has also been getting red all winter, looks like sunburn and i have never had this problem before, do you think it could be the mosterizer!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It most likely is!. Stop using it for a week!. Should be enough time to see if it clears, and it probably will!. Try another ointment or if you stick with it, only use it 2-3 times a week and only before bed!. Always keep your face moisturized with a non-hypoallergenic moisturizer and use sunscreen during the day!. What your using now makes your skin more sensitive to the sun!. I use something similar!.!.from a dermatologist!.!.!.and had the same warnings, yet have not got what you have!.!.!.we're all different!.!.!.but, what I told you is what was told to me!. Your moisturizer is not a moisturizer because of the acid in it!. Neutrogena is good and they must have a seperate moisturizer that will help relieve the redness/dryness!. Best thing to do is only use your cream 2-3 times a week at most!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah it is possible that the salicylic acid is irritating your skin!. Stop using it and see if it gets better!. Maybe you should find a hypoallergenic moisturizer that doesn't have salicylic acid in it!. Or just use yours less often!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
