Question: Is this an allergic reaction!?
I had bought new make up the other day from the store!. i got this maybelline mineral powder(the non compressed kind) and i also got that glow bronzer stuff!. any ways, i put a little on before work and was fine!. i got home late and just went to bed and woke up in the morning with my face being red and having bumps!. it was really hot too!.
is this an allergic reaction!? what of would you think!? should i go to the docs or just use the make up ive been using!.

Well, an allergic reaction works like this!. If your body is allergic to something, it has to have a prior exposure to the allergen!. Then after that exposure, it becomes more and more extreme in its response!. Your first exposure won't produce any symptoms, but your second could produce redness or skin irritation, and in later exposures you could get anaphylaxis which is constriction of the bronchioles and you could suffocate!.
Since you just bought this make up, it is unlikely that you are allergic, that is unless you have used another kind of make up that had the same ingredients!. It sounds like it is just irritating to your skin!. The hot feeling you felt was inflammation!. Whether you are or are not allergic to it, I wouldn't use it again!. But if you are allergic to it, your reaction to it the next time you use it will probably be worse!. If it is an irritant to your skin, it will continue to have those same symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely don't use anymore of the Maybelline makeup!. I wouldn't see a doctor unless the bumps didn't go away!. I have sensitive skin too!. I have to use the more expensive makeup because of rashes and my eyes burn too if I use cheap mascara or eyeliner!. Benadryl helps dry up any rashes and bumps that are left after a reaction!. Always look for hypoallergenic on the packaging before buying!. Although, that isn't always a guarantee that you won't have a reaction either!. I always discontinue use immediately if I have any adverse reactions to any makeup or skincare products!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it sounds like a skin allergy but i m no doctor so talk 2 ur doctor!. i m allergic to makeup (including maybelline) that is scented, i get shortened breath and it is no fun, i cant use anything scented unless i hold my breath (and i cant do THAT)!. if i m allergic to it u might b, even if u get a diffrent reaction so talk with ur doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
