How come organ transplants only last about 10 years?!

Question: How come organ transplants only last about 10 years!?
Answers:
1-Transplants are hard to do
2-Your body will reject the new organ and attack it, so you have to take pills all the time
3-Transplants aren't as good and strong as the real organWww@Answer-Health@Com

Transplanting a foriegn organ is very difficult in the first place and the the stress placed on the organ is considerable!.

Also the person recieving the organ has to take drugs and therapy so their body doesnt reject the organ!.

The process isnt just "plug and play"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that is an average rate

ive had a kidney transplant and im going on my 12th year
when you get a transplant make sure you take all of your medications and live a healthy lifestyle and it couls last more that the average!.

i have known people who have had a transplant and lasted over 20 years so anything is possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

10 years is pretty good!. I'm on the kidney waiting list and would be more than pleased if my new kidney lasted that long!. Organs last longer from a "live" donor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they prefer to stay in their original bodies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
