Question: Hi, I have ear ringing, and recently a pain in the back of my neck, like tension!.!?
i also sometimes get pain between my eyes!. In february i noticed my right ear had constant ringing!. After the visit to the doctors and got the ear syringed!. I was told a wax build up was causing pressure on the ear drum which caused ringing!. a few months later i still have the riniging but in both ears, and developing pain at the back of the neck and behind my eyes!. The condition doesnt bother me too much, luckily i can adjust easily to my new ringing in my ears which i have blocked out very well!. My diet is not good and my sleeping patterns are very mixed as i work at 5am!. Im up at 4am in the morning and dont sleep until around 11pm at night, i wonder if this is a cause!. And i spend alot of time on the PC though the day whihc could explain the eye pain!. I wonder if anyone has had similar symptons!?

I can't give you advice but I can say your'e not the only one!.
Since March my right ear has been ringing, and have neck pain!.
I also have an abscess and a filling which is falling apart!.
So I'm getting a root canal done and the crumbling filling replaced!.
Reason why I point this out is amalgam (mercury) fillings which are crumbling can cause these symptoms as the filling turns to a fine dust, it gets into your system!.
Also known as Mercury Poisoning!.
I also spend alot of time on a PC myself!.
I don't get eye pain anymore as I wear perscription glasses!.
My sleeping patterns are totally the opposite to yours though (Gentlemans hours)
I went to the GP who tested my hearing and it is perfect!.
The ringing is categorized as Tinnitus which can be associated with many non ear related issues and does not mean you are going deaf as there are other nerves around the middle ear which can give off the 'ringing, cricket, hissing noises' if there is something wrong with them!.
This is also the reason why when you cover your ears you will notice the ringing is more prominent!.
