Answers:
First of all there are lots of different types of ticks!. If it was big it won't carry lyme disease, if it was about the size of crumb it could have lyme!. Basically if you have lyme you'll show symptoms pretty soon!. Doctors usually play it safe and give you medicine to treat lyme even if it isn't there just to prevent it!. If you have it or if the tick has it nothing will test negative, so i don't know where u heard that!. You shouldn't have thrown the tick out because you can have it sent out to get tested!. I tested positive for Lyme Disease last year, I found the tick by luck (I was scratching an itch on my back and it came out under my nail) and 2 or so days later I had the classic bulls eye rash and a high fever along with nausea!. Don't worry you won't die, just go to your doctor, a simple blood test will rule it out!. And you'll know if you have it soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
