Question: My mom has a sharp pain in the right side of her head,should we go to the ER!?
She said it was a sharp stabbing pain on the right side of her head!. She says it feels like a hot needle going through her brain every few seconds!. it's reoccuring!. Does this sound like symptoms of a brain tumor and should we go to the ER!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had my mom complain of sharp piercing pains over the last 3 yrs and it turned out to be a stroke the first time she complained and 2 yrs later the pain came back and it turned up this time as the shingles on only one side of her face, in her eye, in her nose, in her throat, extreme pain yet 4 months later still!. The shingles can really bring you to your knees literally, the facial nerve on one side of her face will never heal and she lives with it!.!.!.she took Lyrica for the pain!.!.!.the best shingles medicine out there, but you may have to increase the dosage, it can be 25 mg to 100 mg!.!.!.but she's 93 and the doctor would only increase her up to 75mg's!.!.!.check her out immediately with a crainial catscan for the stroke!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
