Answers:
Asthma attacks can be caused by a number of reasons, but the most common is an allergen!. When the allergen is introduced to an asthmatic, cells in the body signal each other and the result is bronchoconstriction (muscle tightening in the airways), inflammation of the airways and increased mucous constriction in the lungs!. Exercise can also induce asthma exacerbations!.

If your girlfriend isn't already on corticosteroids (such as advair, asmanex, etc!.) I would suggest she see a doctor and get them prescribed!. Corticosteroids can help prevent cells in the body from sending the message that induces inflammation!. She may also be experiencing increased asthma problems due to the time of year!. If she has seasonal allergies it may be beneficial to take an anti-histamine (such as claritin)!. This may curb her asthma exacerbations!.

I hope that helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cigarettes, pollution, allergies cause asthma!. Asthma is due to the inflammation of the airways that form your lungs!. The irritants previously mentioned cause your airways to secrete mucous and mucous secretion causes the buildup of bacteria, which is 'inflammation'!. Oxygen will not flow freely if there is inflammation present!. A bronchial dilator (inhaler) will dilate (relax) the airways to let the bacteria flow out of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Constriction of the bronchial tubes causing difficulty in acquiring oxygen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
