I can't stop itching!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!?!

Question: I can't stop itching!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!?
I just pet my cat and now my right arm (wrist area) is just itching like crazy!! I have been scratching it soo much that it is beet red and hurts but it STILL itches!!! This has never happened before and I think that it might be something that I was exposed to outside while I was walking home from school today!.

But Please Help!! If I can just get the itching to stop!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Try washing the area with soap and cold water!. Place a couple of ice cubes in a baggie and wrap the baggie in a towel!. Hold the baggie on the area that is itching!. This should help to calm down the skin!.
Do not use hot or warm water because this may increase the itching!.

Go and see your doctor, it might be Scabies!!
If this is the cause you will need special medication and they can tell you how best to alleviate the itch and how to clean bed linen towels etc!. It is contagious I think!! Try NOT to scratch place a cool washcloth with lavender oil on it!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

put some calamine lotion on it!. It will stop the itching and dry up the rash!. Quite possibly your cat may have picked something up in his fur and when you were petting him it transferred to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the same thing happens to me sometimes!. the doctor is the best person to get help from or the dermatologist!. they'll usually recommend a certain cream for your skin condition!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No way for me to know, but animals fur can carry poison ivy or oak!.
Google those and see if you can relate, and maybe find solutions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
