I feel like i'm going to die!!!!?!

Question: I feel like i'm going to die!!!!!?
I'm 19 years old and 255 pounds!. I workout daily (play tennis, swim, walk/jog) and apparently what i'm eating is keeping me at this awful weight!. Either way, i'm getting really scared!.

I'm not a typical cigarette smoker, but there are some points in my life where i'll smoke for 2 days straight, and A LOT, then i'll stop for a week!.!. 2 weeks!.!. a month, and then smoke for a month straight, JUST examples!.

My mom thinks that i'm a hypocondriac, where I always think something is wrong with me, but I really do think i'm on the verge of a heart attack!. Sometimes when i'm smoking i'll get these HORRIBLE chest pains!. I've had chest pains my whole life but they definitely worsen!.

Other times, after i'm done smoking and I get home, my veins get very swollen especially in my feet and I feel stabbing pains inside the veins if that makes sense!. After that is over, I always get a horrible stomach ache and feel like throwing up!. I don't have high cholesterol, nor do I have high blood pressureWww@Answer-Health@Com

Take control of your eating! Diet is very important!. You can be eating a lot of the wrong foods and starving your body of nutrients it needs!. Do you take a multi-vitamin and drink plenty of water!? Sounds like you are one of those extreme people, like you take everything to the max!. I have some of these qualities as well!. Meds may help you to be more balanced but diet is definitely a natural way to help take control of these major urges (such as the urge to smoke a lot all of a sudden)!. I'm very proud of you for quitting the smoking!. You may want to consider some free counseling as well!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK!. I agree with the first poster that you definitely have anxiety issues!. However, that also doesn't mean there's nothing wrong with you!.

First thing I would do is see a doctor!. Let him know about the chest pains so they can give you the work up you need!. Second, you should be checked out as to why you weigh what you do!. Never hurts to get your thyroid level checked!

I hope this helps and you feel better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

hi, it sounds like anxiety disorder, but if your worried about your heart you can have a test called an ekg, that will check if you have heart problems!.
you need to lose the weight, as obesity can cause heart problems, etc, i just went to my first overeaters anonymnous meeting, which is a really great place to get help, for weight emotions, and if you just need a freind, so good luck, and go to the doctors, and tell him your symptoms, kathleenWww@Answer-Health@Com

you are way too young to be having these symptoms and if your as active as you say you are then it stems from the inside out!. first of all, you do have to quit the cigarettes, your body is telling you something is wrong!. secondly, you may be getting sick from your own mind!. sometimes worrying about illness causes the body to turn on itself like stress!. you should quit smoking, see a counselor or therapist to help you sort through your reasons why you smoke to begin with!. you should stay active and keep a food journal!. you'll be surprised how much we unthinkingly put in our mouths throughout one day!. write how you're feeling, what you snack on, drink, eat!. then you can find a way to deal with the weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
