TB shot question?!


Question: TB shot question!?
When i was young i had a skin test for TB and found i was positive for TB and had to take a pill for 6 months or so!. so far it has been inactive and im glad for that but i remember that my doctor said i dont need ANYMORE of those shots and to make sure my future doctors know that i am TB positive to make sure they dont do the test!. i want to know why, what would happen exactly if i had another skin test can anyone help me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Contrary to what the first answer says!. You can't be "completely cured", you can always have a recurring case!. If you are ever skin tested again it will come back positive, even though you have already treated it!. At that point they will have you do a chest x-ray which will in fact show that there is nothing to be concerned about!. If you do the test again, at minimum the spot on your skin for a few days will be red, itch like crazy and get at least a dime sized bump!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are genuinely cured, then whatever tests that are carried out will come back negative!. Don't be afraid if it is still positive for you because it is better you are cured completely rather than walking around and spreading the disease just because you are not really cured!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
