How long ago did you take benadryl!? How much did you take!? If you took 50 mg more than an hour ago and there is no improvement, you may need some steroid, not the bad kind, though!. Also, if you are wheezing or your throat or tongue is swelling, or any touble breathing, sweating and rapid heartbeat, needs immediate emergency care from an ambulance without delay, ok!? If you aren't having trouble breathing, you can keep taking the benadryl on schedule, (read the label) try hydrocortisone cream 1% from the drug store!. my mom had a bad case a couple of months ago and we gave her benadryl and tried the hydrocortisone cream but they got worse and she only got relief when we took her to the e!.r!. and they gave her a steroid shot (solu-medrol) and atarax for the itching immediately gave her relief and they started clearing right up!. put hydrocortisone 1% on the hives as needed!. Wear loose cotton clothing if it's anywhere that your clothes would rub on the rash and irritate it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
