I do, my mother died on April 8th, 2007!. From stage 4 breast cancer, that spread to her lungs, brain and bones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do!. My paternal grand mother died of breast cancer!. My aunt is beating breast cancer!. My sister is taking chemo for breast cancer and I just had three wire localizations done and removed during biopsy on April 3, 2008!. The three tissue samples were NOT cancerous, but I was diagnosed with Lobular Carcinoma in Situ and Atypical Lobular Hyperplasia!. I am 47!. It is a necessity to support all cancer awareness, including breast cancer awareness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was made fully aware of breast cancer just recently when I too had a lump removed!. They told me that it was "just a simple fluid-filled cyst!." I insisted on a biopsy!. When they tried to aspirate it, it was impermiable!. I then said, "Stop playing around and take it out!"

Praise God it was benign but it was not as they had told me!. It was a very complex cyst with several changes occurring in both the duct and the surrounding tissue!.

I believe that I made the right choice and that God led me to have it removed!. Thank you, Lord!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do, out of necessity!. I had a lump at the age of 16!. It was benign!. Then, almost 30 years later, another lump was not!. It was malignant!. I just finished 15 months of active treatment!. I was HER2+ and had a year of Herceptin in addition to the chemo and radiation!. It was also ER+ and PR+, so I will be on Tamoxifen for several years!.
I had no family history and was in no risk category!. You have to be aware, the life you save may be your own!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do, but I think it's blown WAY out of proportion- breast cancer awareness is commonplace, normal, and yet we rarely talk about or consider 'comfortable' the discussion of other cancers!.

I think it's harmful in terms of focusing on only ONE of the unique cancers that can kill women- there needs to be some balancing out in terms of awareness of OTHER cancers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

being a nurse, of course i support breast cancer awareness!.!. not just breast cancer but all cancers!.!.!. =) seeing people with cancer, especially on its late stages, is really sad!. people should be more aware of the risk factors (like unhealthy lifestyle) and the warning signs:
