Answers:
It's sounds like a motor (muscular) tic, but check with your doctor for sure!. Below is information I found in the dictionary about tics:

Motor tics are movement-based tics affecting specific muscle groups!.
Tics may increase as a result of stress, tiredness, or high energy emotions, which can include negative emotions, such as anxiety, but positive emotions as well, such as excitement or anticipation!.
Relaxation may result in a tic decrease or a tic increase , while concentration in an absorbing activity often leads to a decrease in tics!. Some tics are classified under " Tourette's syndrome"!.
Immediately preceding the start of a tic, most people are aware of an urge that is similar to the need to yawn, sneeze, blink, or scratch an itch!. Individuals describe the need to tic as a buildup of tension which they consciously choose to release, as if they "had to do it"!.An examples of this urge is the feeling of having a localized discomfort in the shoulders, or neck, leading to the need to shrug the shoulders or move the head!. The actual tic may be felt as relieving this tension or sensation, similar to scratching an itch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have no idea, but I do jerk around and shiver like that when I'm cold, it's weird!. But my friends do it too, it's seems natural!. But with genetic problems in your family, and it happens every day, it could be something different!. If you just gained this, and it really bothers you and you gain other symptoms later on then you might consider going to a doctor!. It all depends on how much it bothers you; personally it doesn't seem that severe!. Best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like my boyfriend!. He does this thing where it feels like someone is walking over his grave a couple of times a day!. Its best to go to your doctor as it could be a nerve problem!. My mum wants him to get a CT scan!. But its best to go and get checked before it could become anything serious that you cant help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be a type of seizure, such as myoclonic seizures!. It's really hard to diagnose that sort of thing without seeing a specialist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
