Warts on hands?!
Question: Warts on hands!?
My 8 year old son has warts (about 10 of them) on his hands!. It's disgusting!. The doctor said to use an OTC medication!. My older son had this problem a few years ago, and the OTC stuff was such a pain, as it has to be applied twice a day, and I leave early in the am!. I've been using it on my younger son, to the best of my ability, but once I put the medication on, I have to cover the warts so it doesn't rub off!. Well, with 10 warts, that's 10 bandaids!! He's got bandaids all over his hands, and obviously we can't do this while he's at school! Has anyone tried a quicker OTC medication for warts, and did it work and how much did it "hurt"!? I've heard freezing them with the compound w hurts!. The stuff I have worked for my other son, but it took nearly 3 weeks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've used Compound W Wart Remover Liquid on my hands, and it worked really well!. [It didn't hurt at all!] However, I'd stay away from using it with plantar warts on the feet!. I've tried that before a few times, but it has only ever ended in disaster!. >_>
The ones on my hands went away within a week, though!. The only problem is that the bottles dry out incredibly quickly!. If you're going to use them, you have to use them fast! I've also bought them from the store ~already~ dried out!. But maybe I just have bad luck!.!.!.!.

My son recently had like 30 on his hand, I took him to a dermatoligist and she gave him a immune booster shot in his finger where it was the worst spot!. She did this every 2 weeks 3x's and gave us a prescription called Fluorouracil 5%- he had to put it on all the warts every night and cover it with duct tape over them while he slept!. After that treatment all the warts are gone!!! Good luck! Bandaids do not trap moisture, which warts hate moisture! Use duct tape!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
warts are a living, breathing virus!. years ago i had a wart on my hand, and an old lady told me to apply clear nailpolish on the wart at least once a day or every other day, the nailpolish stops the wart from breathing, and they will eventually die, and the warts will be gone !. worked for me!. good luck and god blessWww@Answer-Health@Com
Ever tried just a little bit of duct tape!. He may have to wear it for a little while but it worked for my neice!. She had them all over her hands and I heard a rumor that duct tape works!. It worked on her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
