If you did see a mist, you may have spiritual sight!. Spiritaul sight can come from the powers of dark or light!. Many Christians for example have this gift!. But you don't have to be Christian to have such a gift!. You were allowed to see this because God or the greatest power whatever you want to call God!. wanted you to see it, so that you would question it and learn!. It means that you have a gift that could be further developed if properly nurished!. You saw your father's spirt leave his body!. Dying is much like being born!. you leave one small reality/demension and enter true reality eternity!. "There is life after death" as I have exsperienced it my self in many ways!. "Long story"!. Some people Ghosts inherit the earth, just as the Bible says!. Some go to a holding place or purgitory!. Some go to Hell and some to Heaven!. If you go to Heaven you will be judged!. If your good/positive/fruit out wieghs your bad/negative/bad fruit then you go through the narrow gate into Heaven or whatever you want to call it!. If you are a Christian or believe that Jesus died here for us as the last blood sacrifies in order to cover and forgive our sins and we have confessed our sins to God and asked God's forgiveness through Jesus name and blood, and mean it!.!. and try to do better!.!. not perfect as we can't be perfect!.!. only God is good and only God is perfect!. But to strive to do better!. You sins will be forgotten as if they never occured!.!. But if there is something you had forgotten about, that will be placed on the scales!. on the other side of the scales your good/positive/fruit will be placed!. Have you helped a person!.!.!. prayed for a person done community service vollentere work, helped the needy, hungry, thirsty, clothed the poor, visited people in hospitals/prisons!. tried to love and pray for those who have hurt you, Charity, any positive thing!.!. saved anyones souls!.!.!.!?!?!? That goes on the positive side!. If the good out weighs the bad you go in through the narrow gate!.!.!. if it doesn't you are dragged through the wide gate to Hell!.!.!. If you do go to Heaven depending on your scale you will be placed in a level!.!.!.!. What leval or mansion you go to will depend on the life you lived!. The better the closer you'll be to God's presence itself!. Any person can go to Heaven or whatever name you give it, depending on the life you've lived!. But only Christians can be forgiven!.!.!.!. I would say it was vapors!. But,maybe it was his spirit!. Hard to say!. It depends on what you believe!. Sorry about the loss of your father!. I lost mine too, not long ago!. He suffered a long time!. But he went peacefully early in the morning!. For some reason, I awoke from a deep sleep and walked out of my room!. I already knew it!. Then my mom met me in the hall and told me the news!. It was like we woke up at the same time and we both new at the same time!.Weird!Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends on what you believe in!. Yes the body does release gases when it is no longer 'alive' but it is unusual for the human eye to see them!. This could be an unusual experience where the gases are visible, or it could be that your father was letting you know that he's at peace now!. There's no definitive way of knowing!.
