Question: Just a Rumor, or not!?
i heard somewhere that in public toliets, if someone with genital herpies sits on that toliet, and then you do, can it spread!? or any other fast spreading desease!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am not certain!. I do believe that you would have to come into the direct contact with a person that has herpes/active or dormant!. By all means the seat covered with the liners some provide, toilet tissue, or hover as your other answer suggested!. Germs do tend to lenger!. Most viruses will die soon after leaving the host!. It is also better to be safe than sorry!. Also it is a good idea to wash your hands before and after using the toilet!. You also may call your Dr!. or a local health clinic!. You do not have to give them your name if you do not want to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
always cover the toilet seat in a public restroom or don't sit on the seat!. It would be hard to catch that way but NOT impossible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
