Any time there is a suspicion of blood in the stool a person should be seen immediately!. A very simple test can be performed at bedside (guaiac stool card) to determine if it is blood)!. If it is positive then you can expect to have additional tests performed!.!.!.CT, EGD, Colonoscopy as several examples so a determination can be made as to where the bleeding site is!. Do not take any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (aspirin, ibuprofen, naprosyn, etc as they can increase the chances of bleeding)!. Any weakness!? Racing heart!? Feeling fatigued!? Best answer would be to go to the hospital to be seen as soon as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be because of what you've eaten, but I am more concerned that it may be because of blood, especially if it is tarry in consistency!. Please do have a check up with your doctor so that your stool can be sent for laboratory!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Black stools may be caused due to blood in stools!. You need to get a stool examination done for occult blood, and it is best to see your doc to rule out any problems in your large intestines (colon) that might cause this symptomWww@Answer-Health@Com
