Enlarged Liver? Anyone else experience this?!

Question: Enlarged Liver!? Anyone else experience this!?
I am waiting on blood work results!. On April 1st, I had an ultrasound on my liver, on the 24th of April the results came back, saying I have an enlarged liver!.
I don't know if it is because I know it is enlarged, or if it is getting worse because my ribs are now aching on my right side!.
I am having serious anxiety over this, and have 3 days until my blood work comes back!.
Can someone please help!?
Anyone else experience this!?

Answers:
Typically an enlarged liver is an enflamed liver!. I'm sure your doctors are running a battery of tests on you, such as hepatitis a, b and c!. ALT, AST (liver function tests) also along with other blood tests!.

I have hepatitis c for over 30 years now!. Over the years I have learned that the liver itself has no feeling!. So that can't be what is aching on you!. However, when the liver is enlarged, the capsule surrounding it also stretches and this capsule (like a glove around the liver) has many nerve endings so that might be where the pain is coming from!. Also you have other organs around your liver, the pancreas, the gall bladder and the intestines!. An enlarged liver might be squeezing these other organs causing pain!.
Please don't stress out over this as stress never helps!. Just be sure to make certain your doctor is ordering the tests necessary!.
Until you know for certain what is causing all this, you should refrain from alcohol!. Eat a good, balanced diet and get plenty of rest!.
Good luck to you, and keep us posted, ok!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, I had my gallbladder removed last year and during my surgery, the doctor noticed my liver was enlarged!. They did a biopsey right there on the spot!. Thankfully it came back as a fatty liver, which is most certainly treatable, and in fact, reversable!. I have my blood tested every six months and so far all is good!. If you are diagnosed with fatty liver, your diet has to change!. No more high fat foods, or red meat, but it's worth the sacrafice to hve a healthy liver!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is nothing you can do now, just wait for the test results to come back!. Once then your doctor will be able to prescribe you some medicine or give you tips on relief the pain!.!. Just watch T!.V take a walk to relax your mind!. Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
