Marijuana Withdrawal?!

Question: Marijuana Withdrawal!?
Hey guys, I quit smoking weed 5 days ago and the plan was to go a month because I had been having heart palpitations because I was gettin high 6 times a day for a few years!.!.!. But tonight me and my friend are going to see the new Harold and Kumar and I really want to get baked for it!.

I already went through the first few days of feeling like crap because I didn't have any marijuana and now I am feeling better again and I have more energy!.

If I smoke a joint before the movie will this make me feel like i am addicted again!?

Also, will this cause my heart palpitations to show up again!? I was getting them a lot while I was on the weed, but since I stopped 5 days ago I haven't had it happen!.

It's just one joint which is like 1/7 of what i used to smoke in a day!. Will this bring back my heart palps!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey man, Sorry to hear about your heart palpitations!. I'm no dr!. or anything, but I think if you smoke just one joint you will be okay!. Don't inhale too deeply or hold forever so you don't put as much strain on yourself though (you get just as much effect since it only takes 3 seconds for the THC to be absorbed)!. Pot isn't physically addictive, but if you mean will you miss it, probably!. Just keep in mind that pot is a sacred herb, a gift from God!. And we should respect it!. Not abuse it!. Good luck!.

P!.S!. That movie looks hilarious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i feel you and have similar problems!. i have lost blacked out and even stopped breathing!. some of mine happens when i am just stressed or concerned all i can say is that be aware that you could bring it on yourself if you think about it too much but with small amounts you will be alright!. its funny though because i had an "episode" last night and i am going to see harold and kumar tonightWww@Answer-Health@Com

didnt know there was such a thingWww@Answer-Health@Com

All I can do is answer from experience!. I have been a heavy smoker off and on throughout my entire adult life!. Right now I've been straight for 2 years!. Don't think I'm judging you though, I've been there and I may be again one day!.

If the heart palpitations were due to the weed then probably any at all will bring them back but it's impossible to anticipate!. The hardest part of stopping, as you've found out, is the psychological aspect!. I've never had any physical symptoms of withdrawal and there have been times I would have made you seem like a lightweight :)
whenever I first quit all I think about is I wish I had some, that's the worst part of it for me, if it's hard for you, you should stay away from any at all because it will all start over again, the desire as much as it ever was!.
Really, give it a shot!. You need to learn to enjoy movies while straight!. I know, I know, Dazed and Confused, the Monty Python series, Rocky Horror Picture Show are just not the same but if the pot is causing heart problems, eventually you'll need to get off and stay off, you might as well relearn about enjoying life straight now as later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
