it depends on the course you body takes to recover, when getting treated!.
for some a few weeks, some maybe less!.
can be extremely contagious if you come in close contact with a person who has it!. or using something they eat with(using/sharing utensils),kissing etc!.
it really depends, because i have been around 4 people who had it, they were diagnosed with it, and i never caught it!.!.!.!.i was lucky!.
