How sick with temp of 99.5 and other symptoms?!


Question: How sick with temp of 99!.5 and other symptoms!?
Is that considered a fever!? Should I not go to school with that temp!? I know it isn't high!? But I am just wondering school regulations

also random question havine taken a hot bath about 5 minutes ago change my temp even if water wasn't in my mouth!?

i generally run a temperature of 97!.9ish!. I am not trying to get out of going to school at all!. I have a lacrosse game tomorrow i want to go to, but idk if i should go!.!.!.i have a throaty cough, stuffy nose, and general weak and tiredness, and occational nausea, but never have thrown up

I don't WANT to stay home!.!.!.my mom doesn't need to be convinced!. My mom is trusting if i say i don't feel good she won't take my temperature!. I was just asking!. I need no excuses to convince my mom to let me stay homeWww@Answer-Health@Com

It can be a fever, but it is still a normal temperature, because taking an oral temperature is not always accurate!. Plus the hot bath could have raised your temperature!. The most accurate way to take your temp is in your rectum, but I doubt you want to try that!. If you get an oral reading over 100 or 100!.5 (and you haven't ate a hot beverage or took a hot bath or anything) then I would call that a fever!.
However, just because you do not have a fever, does not mean you are sick!. If you really dont feel good, it is best to rest until you feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

99!.5 is pretty average!.!.!.if it goes over 100 then u should stay at home considering the FACT that pyrexia causes dizziness, light headiness, and you are more likely to faint if you are up and runningWww@Answer-Health@Com
