Question: Is it possible to have herpes for three years w/o knowing it!?
My boyfriend has a small paper cut like spot on his penis!. It wasnt ever a blister!. He noticed it after he mowed (there is another question on here that he posted)!. I've had people say it may be herpes!. But he was a virgin when he got with me and i was with only one other guy over three years ago!. I've NEVER had any signs of herpes!. No outbreaks not anything!. Is it possible i may have gave him something i didnt even know i had!?!? Is it possible for me to even have it and not know!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. Herpes outbreaks are very painful and come out in crops of blisters!. A little papercut mark could just be a birthmark or like a tiny scar from circumcision maybe!.

It is possible to have the virus and never have an outbreak because many people carry the virus in them and just have a natural immunity to outbreaks!. The chances of spreading it if you've never had outbreaks are pretty much 99% impossible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Herpes is different in everybody and it is very likely you could have had it for 3 years and never known it!. 80% of the people that have herpes don't even know it because they don't have symptoms!. Other's have had such mild outbreaks they mistakenly thought they were a pimple, boil, rash, reaction to shaving, friction burn or even poison ivy!.
Herpes is NOT part of normal std screenings and you have to ask to be tested for it!. So yes, it's very possible to have herpes for three years or even longer without knowing it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it wasn't a blister, why are you automatically assuming it is herpes!? Easy way to find out is for you both to go get tested for STD's, which you should have done before having sex even though he said he was a virgin!. If he had a female with open cold sores perform oral sex on him, yes he would get herpes and no it is possible he wouldnt know unless he had an outbreak!. You would not be at as high of a risk if he never had an outbreak but there would still be a chance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well my bf has herpes and didn't know he had herpes for about 40 years, almost all his life!.1!.5 years into our 3 year monogomous relationship he gave herpes to me!.
your bf could have gotten something from a previous relationship or i hate to suggest it but he may have cheated!.
bu who knows for sure what these spot like things are for sure!. he needs to get to the doctor and have whatever it is tested!. u could be jumping to conclusions!.
u could have been born with herpes if u have not had sex before him!. but if your parents didn't have herpes there would be very little chance of herpes being passed that way!.

Yes, it is possible to have herpes without any symptoms!. Symptoms usually occurs during times of stress or if you are in poorer than normal health when your immune system is weak!. So if you are a very healthy person you might not see any symptoms for a long time!. This does not mean you have herpes!. The only way to answer your question is to see a doctor and get tested!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes it's possible!. if you have a good strong immune system, it'll be able to suppress the herpes virus from manifesting!. you and your boyfriend should see a doctor soon to verify it and to prevent further spreadWww@Answer-Health@Com
