if your kid's sinus are that deviated, make sure you research and read stories of other young kids who had a septoplasty or deviateed ceptum surgery done!. Some adults who get a septoplasty(cartelidge cut from clogged passageway in the nostril) have other more annoying symotoms to live with and often have to get one or two more surgeries!. My uncle can breateh well now but has no sense of smell and must use salene to moisturize his nostrils every day instead of his previous afrin, which dryed them out!. BUT surgery on children is more vital to their growth and future health!. Investigate this well and read the stories and day by day calendaers of young people and teens whi had this done!. Consult more than one ENT's (ear Nose Throat specialists) as they have different methods sometimes and some just wanna link you to their friend the surgeon who gives them a kickback for referals!. Get a sinus catscan and looka t it with the ENT to understand the problem!. A common septoplasty costs$3000-$5000 cash!. You should get insurance for the kid and don't tell them about why you are getting about the sinus thing because they WILL give you insurance but they WILL NOT COVER PRE_EXISTING CONDITIONS"!. This si a big problem with the insurance world!. They won't cover somthing you knwo you are using them to fix!.!. Get the insurance and then pretend "Oops my child is getting sick ,Ithink he/she has a sinus problem or somthing" get it checked out with an ENT who is under your coverage!. Dont EVER mention your previous knowledge of he/she needing surgery as they will not cover PRE EXISTING CONDITIONS!. They hate that!. Good Luck and hope your kid gets healthy!.
