Crohn's disease - best things to eat?!

Question: Crohn's disease - best things to eat!?
I'd like to plan a meal for my boyfriend, who has Crohn's disease, and I was curious about what things would be good to make!.

I'd love it if others with this disease answered, you know what you're talking about more than people just looking things up - which is why I'm asking versus only searching on my own!.

I was hoping to do a picnic, what should I have that won't affect his stomach!? What should I AVOID!?

THANK YOU! Your time is MUCH appreciated!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've found that vegetables help to ease my Crohn's disease!.
Unfortunately, everyones Crohn disease is different!. So What may work on me, may not work on your boyfriend!. Make sure that he is also not eating too fast and is fully chewing his food, this can also cause irritations!. There are also medications that can also help!. Make sure that you track what foods affect him and which do not!.

Remember no chocolate, beans, alchol or caffeine!. These are among the more common triggers!.

Stay with less acidic fruits:
Peeled Apples (no peels)
Bananas (make sure they are ripe (very yellow)
Nectarines
Kiwi
Peaches
Pears

Make sure that he is eating a healthy amount (stress that), consistently, every day!. Do not stress him, this can cause irritation!. Exercise will also help him!. The biggest thing is his diet, stay with foods that are light (low fat, low cholesterol, low sodium)!. Other than that, you just have to do a little trial and error!. Just remember, keep track of every food he can and cannot eat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you asked him what he can and cannot tolerate!? Different people have different dietary issues with that disease!. Many also turn out to have celiac!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
