A pulse that skips...?!
Question: A pulse that skips!.!.!.!?
Today I went to give blood and the nurses kept trying to find my pulse but couldn't find it!. Finally, after three nurses trying, they found it and then realized that it was skipping!. Just curious, but is it okay that it skips!? Why would my pulse skip!? Thanks in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they should have done an ekg on you!. it could have just been some palpitations, which can be normal especially if someone is nervous!. you should have it worked up though to make sure it's not anything else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yeah that's totally normal - it's called a mitro valve prolapse - i have it, and i my heart " flutters" and skips a beat sometimes!. some people are just born with it, just the way your arteries are formed!. it's not harmful in anyway!. a flap on the inside of one your arteries sometimes gets stuck for a second, not letting as much blood flow in!. it's totally normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
